This year is the 50th anniversary of the peace sign... boy, time flies when you are having fun! Of course, I remember the first go round of tie-die and peace signs in the sixties, and I am delighted to see them come back for an encore. I am one of those NPR geeks who actually knows the history of the peace sign. It's a combination of two semaphore flag positions for N and D for “nuclear disarmament”. This one is a piece of fine jewelry, hand fabricated and soldered from sterling silver square wire. Sterling chains available for purchase.
