These domed sterling earrings have a copper inlay that glows with rich patina the longer you wear them. I don't know anyone else who uses inlaid metal in this fashion. It's a labor of love to get the copper piece to nestle flawlessly into the silver so there are no gaps in the seam after soldering. I've had colleagues try to convince me to simply copper plate the design, but the look is very second rate.
